Six months of Coltrane…

The other day was Coltrane’s 6th month birthday! His warranty is up, so we’re glad we want to keep him.

He is getting bigger everyday and it seems like he has something new to do or say everyday too. Lately, Coltrane has learned to sit up, and he is starting to push himself up onto his knees! Crawling should start fairly soon, but hopefully not before we get some things out of his reach.

Coltrane continues to be a joyful, playful, content child – and we love him very much!

This week my family from Illinois came for a visit – to see Katie and I, but mostly Coltrane, of course.

We had a great week with them and are so glad they were able to come visit. Everyone helped out around the house and with food – and we paid them with lots of “Coltrane time.”

It’s a long road trip from Illinois so Katie, Coltrane and I are uber excited that they made the trek. They are on their way home, in the midst of a midwest snow storm – so please pray for them as they are driving.
